I also had the opportunity for dirtiness in a bed previously owned by Margaret Thatcher. I declined most of the above. I did have it off with one of the writers of Coronation Street (both of us very drunk), and I spent a memorable couple of days with a member of the British Olympic rowing team.
Whoa, topical (again) because yesterday up on the roof of Soho House 180 The Strand I was having a spicy marg next to the rooftop pool when who should walk in with her friends but KIM CATTRALL! It was only when I got home that my daughter's (gay) pal who was over reminded me of the SATC episode when Samantha blagged her way into Soho House in NYC for the pool! How meta?!
Goodness you have nearly met all the greats, or should I say 'met nearly all the greats? I almost met Dora Bryan and Bernard Cribbins when I was a student in Brighton.
Can't believe I forgot to include Barbara Windsor and Simon LeBon, both of whom I met at a drunken charity bash. AND Shirley Bassey who screamed down the stairs, BIGGINS, I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU SINCE MONTE!!! Much to everyone's bemusement. Dora and Bernard are good spots!
